What is a Birth Doula?

A birth doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical and educational support to those navigating pregnancy, birth and the immediate postpartum period. My intention as your doula is to empower, educate and support you on your path to bringing your baby earth-side. I support a wide range of births in hospital, birth center and home birth settings. My goal is to meet you where you are at and provide one on one support and guidance while being your teacher, advocate and cheerleader.

For those looking for the support of a doula during their pregnancy and into the labor and birth experience.

Support includes (but is not limited too):

  • (2) personalized in-person birth preparation sessions

  • text, email + phone support throughout pregnancy

  • individualized childbirth education

  • customized birth plan preparation

  • pregnancy + postpartum resource guide

  • continuous in-person support throughout active labor, delivery and the immediate postpartum period

  • postpartum follow up support

  • labor + birth iPhone photography (if desired and permitted)

Additionally, clients receive a discounted rate for community events that occur for the duration of your pregnancy.

Virtual | Distance Doula Support

A great option for those looking for individualized support throughout pregnancy and into birth where in - person labor coaching is not accessible. This is a great option for those who would like to work together but do not live locally.

This package includes (2) virtual coaching sessions tailored to your individual needs. Includes birth plan preparation, understanding medical advocacy, partner support + postpartum preparation.

This package also includes:

  • personalized childbirth education

  • text, email + phone support for the duration of pregnancy

  • phone support during labor + birth

  • virtual postpartum follow - up

Please note: For those with unique or high risk situations in which I believe an in-person presence would be vital, I will work with you to match you with a local doula who is a good fit for you and your goals.

"Ask a Doula” Education Session

Private birth preparation sessions are tailored to you as you navigate your unique pregnancy and prepare for your birth experience. Designed to guide you on a process of creating clarity, setting intentions and instilling confidence, this is an educational session that goes beyond traditional childbirth education as it catered to your unique needs and areas of concern. Prior to our scheduled session, you will complete an intake form that allows me to create an individualized support session for you. These “Ask a Doula” sessions allow you the space and support yo ask questions, gather resources and find your confidence.

Topics for discussion can include (but are not limited too):

  • birth plan preparation

  • understanding + navigating medical advocacy

  • cesarean preparation + recovery

  • partner support

  • postpartum preparation

$75 (45 mins)
